You and all the other 7 billion humans on this planet at some point as a child had an untainted dream to strive towards. Whether it’s starting your business, pursuing an acting or writing career, starting a travel blog, or building a YouTube channel; dreams have the power to inspire and drive us forward. However, many people are stuck in this phase, yet merely dreaming isn’t enough. It’s the action we take that truly propels us towards our goals. In this blog we will explore the importance of taking action and how it will lead you towards your ideal Luxe Life that’s filled with purpose and meaning!

Many people fail to achieve their childhood dreams because they never overcome the first hump: “Overcoming the Fear of Failure”. Taking action is often hindered by the fear of failure; taking this one step further, it is the fear of what others may think of your downfall. Read that again.

Countless dreamers never reach their goals solely because they are too worried about what others may think. When you become too focused on the potential risk involved and not the possibility of succeeding, one’s vision becomes muddied with doubt. However, it’s essential to remember we all have the talent to achieve our goals, but what matters more is the work effort and tenacity one has throughout their journey. Failure will always be a stepping stone in ones journey towards success.

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

If you played any type of sports whether it was middle school, high school, college, or professionally at one point your coach most certainly told you this. It’s very simple yet very powerful. It’s a reminder to everyone, no matter how gifted you may naturally be, if you don’t continue to improve & practice you will become complacent. I myself have been guilty of this, assuming my talent was enough for me to be successful; well, I’m here to let you know, someone else out there is working harder than you with less that what you have and they will come out on top.

By taking action, we learn through the ups & downs of the journey through self-discovery. Don’t let your current situation weigh you done from taking that leap of faith towards your dreams. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not telling you to take the leap without any preparation, you still must be a tactician when striving for your dreams.

“Do you want to live the rest of your life carrying the tireless weight of regret always wondering, what could’ve been?”

Action begets action. Taking that first step is always hardest, but inch by inch, every step towards your goals will carry more weight and conviction. Once you start taking these steps, you create momentum that propels you forward. Each action builds upon the previous one, leading to a snowball effect of progress. Moreover, action attracts opportunities, to simplify it, the harder you work the luckier you become. By grasping your dreams and crafting them to your new reality, you open doors for new connections, collaborations, and unexpected chances to move closer your goals.

Regret often stems from not taking action when we had the chance. Don’t let the fear of failure or the comfort of the familiar hold you back from pursuing what you feel deep in your soul. For me, ever since I was a toddler, I knew I wanted to write and share my writing. It didn’t matter in what way I’d do it, I just knew that I had to do it, once I lit that fire within, I could feel the embers spark an everlasting drive. Remember that life is short, and time is precious. Grasping the moment when the time is right allows you to live a life of purpose, passion, and fulfillment. When you look back on your journey, you’ll be grateful for the risks you took and the actions you dared to pursue.

Chasing your dreams requires more then simple wishful thinking. It demands action, courage, and perseverance. Over coming your fears is very different than facing your fears; yet getting to the point where you can face your own fears will unleash your inner potential.
